This webpage is going to be about the choices that I have in my final project.
My first idea is to create a website for my 6th grade math class. I currently use Google Classroom as my current classroom webpage. Google Classroom is really an LMS but I use this as a class webpage. I can do:
I want to be able to put all of this information and more into one place. So that students and parents have access to their assignments, important information, and anything else that will make them successful in my class.
My other thought is to make a webpage that houses all the information and templates for Genius Hour Club. What is Genius Hour? Chris Kesslerstates that Genius Hour is:
"Genius hour is a movement that allows students to explore their own passions and encourages creativity in the classroom. It provides students a choice in what they learn during a set period of time during school. It’s not easy to determine where the idea was originally created, but there are at least two events that have impacted genius hour."
My webpage would then focus on three things:
This will help parents and students be able to find the directions, templates of for their project, announcements/dates, videos of what genius hour is, example of past presentations, or pictures of what kids have been doing. This website will house everything in one spot. I would like to also add in a way to email/message each other.
